With 2 mast sailing vessel ‘ Fantastiko’ we wil cross the North Sea to our destination, Bergen (Norway). From Bergen we will have one week to sail around and explore the Norwegian fjords untill we set sail from Stavanger back to Roterdam. Travelling with us; a Marine biologist, a filmaker, the crew and up to 10 expedition members.
Besides sailing we will involve ourselves with one of the biggest challenge of our time: the plastic what unfortunately floats in our oceans. Together we wil learn more about this plastic pollution and see what kind of impact plastic has on our oceans, the wildlife and humanity.
The crossing will take a couple of days non-stop offshore sailing on the North Sea. No land in sight, just you and the ocean at its finest.
Because this problem affects us all, we should create more awareness, stand together, discourage futher plastic pollution and help to clean our oceans.
With the group we will debate and discuss these theme and see what WE can do for a plastic free water world.
We are also traveling with funds to donate and leave behind. Donating to whom or what is not decided yet. By booking this expedition YOU have raised the funds. As it is your fund to give away, you as a group will decide in what kind of project you would like to invest.
The experienced crew enjoys to teach about offshore sailing. You may help with watch keeping during the night, steer the ship and help with the sail handling.
